8th International Type Design Competition
for non-Latin typefaces

GRANSHAN Competition 2015

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and the Typographische Gesellschaft München (tgm) call for entries for GRANSHAN 2015, the 8th International Competition for Non-Latin Typefaces.

GRANSHAN celebrates the diversity and richness of typographic scripts that underpin global communication, empower communities, and define identity. It combines complexity with uniqueness, cultural technique with heritage and the power of local and international scripts.

This year's motto for the GRANSHAN Competition and Conference is »Global design in practice«. Non-Latin Typefaces are a relevant key factor for the genuine exploration of this motto. The fact that the GRANSHAN Competition is expanding constantly – and including at least one more script language every year – shows that the potential is far from being exhausted. There are still so many scripts to be discovered and embraced.

The 8th GRANSHAN Competition explores the enormous potential of Non-Latin Typefaces. And this year, for the first time, Hebrew has been included –resulting in a total of 10 categories.

Please, note that this year’s GRANSHAN conference will be in Reading near London. You will find more with this link: www.granshan.com
